My name is Ciarán and I’m a 23-year-old from Cork, Ireland. I am a language and linguistics graduate and am currently completing my master’s in marketing and management. I’ve three main passions in life: language learning, music and culture.

I was raised in a home where music was always playing so it was only natural that I would possess this quality, I carried on this tradition and always had music playing no matter the situation. Currently, my top genres would be 90’s RNB, experimental house and Bossa Nova, but it changes monthly! It’s safe to say I eat, sleep and breathe music so it was a no-brainer I’d end up giving my own opinions on this site.

My love for learning and immersing myself in other cultures is a product of my interests in languages and music. Both of these aspects play a mammoth role in nurturing and developing culture. It is what keeps us alive. Being able to speak another language and communicate with those from other cultures is a privilege not to be taken for granted. It allows you to develop other outlooks on life and start to appreciate the world we’re on! Neat right?
